Remove me from CrewMark archives
Are you a crew member who's been mentioned in someone else's CrewMark archive?
CrewMark stores users' parsed roster contents. Your name may appear in another crew member's archive if you've ever flown together. Your name is pseudonymized + encrypted in our database — only that one user, signed in to their account, can see it. But if you want to be removed entirely, this form lets you exercise your right to erasure under GDPR Article 17, even if you don't have a CrewMark account yourself.

How it works
- You enter your name exactly as it appears on your airline-issued rosters, plus your airline and an email address we can verify you at.
- We email you a verification link (so we know it's really you, not someone trying to scrub a colleague).
- You click the link.
- Within 30 days, we run a scrub job that removes your pseudonym + encrypted name reference from every CrewMark snapshot at that airline.
- We email you a confirmation telling you how many records were scrubbed.
Important caveats
- This form removes references to you in other users' archives. If you have your own CrewMark account, use Settings → Delete account instead.
- We can only scrub records at the airline you specify. If you've worked at multiple airlines and want them all scrubbed, submit the form once per airline.
- Some name spellings may not match if your roster used unusual punctuation or middle initials. We use a normalized matcher (lowercase, strip punctuation, first-and-last only) but unusual edge cases may miss. If we don't catch your records, email privacy@crewmark.tech with details.
- If you re-fly with the same colleague after the scrub, your name will reappear in their next upload. You can re-submit this form at any time.
Your rights — full picture
This form implements your GDPR Article 17 "right to erasure." You also have:
- Right of access (Art. 15) — email privacy@crewmark.tech and we'll tell you what (pseudonymized) records of you we hold.
- Right to object (Art. 21) — same channel. We don't profile or market.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority — www.dataprotectionauthority.be
How we handle your data on this form
The form fields above (name, airline, email) are stored in our scrub_requests table solely to process your erasure request. After processing — typically within 30 days — we retain:
- The normalized name (used for matching) for 12 months, then permanently deleted
- Your email for 12 months, in case we need to follow up
- A counter of how many records were scrubbed (no personal data)
You can request earlier deletion of this record itself by emailing privacy@crewmark.tech.
